The multi-use Mullien. Used traditionally as medicin for coughs and compresses, this biennial beauty has long lasting fuzzy foliage and produces a 5 foot tall yellow spike of edible flowers in the dog days of summer. Birds love this plant too and seed pods can be collected for winter.
