Comfreys deep tap roots pull nitrigen from deep in the soil and aid in feeding other nearby plants- sespecially roses. Pick leaves and soak in water for ready made fertilizer, feed to rabbits or chickens for a boost of nutrients or use leaves as a healing compress. They dry well also!
