Homegrown blackbeans are a rare find! The picture above shows the beans in various stages of drying and this is how they will arrive since amassing large amounts of beans is a difficult task for the small farmer.
Green black beans may be cooked inside the pod, remove string from tip to end.
Black Beans for drying will arrive with pods beginning to dry and can be shucked and used right away or further dried and stored.
Dried and shucked Black Beans will arrive ready to  soak overnight and cook- available soon!
